NAVIGATE THE MYSTICAL COVES OF PALEOKASTRITSA: A THRILLING BOAT ADVENTURE

One of the best ways to experience the beauty of Paleokastritsa and its surrounding coastline is by renting a boat for the day. This allows you the freedom to navigate the stunning waters, discover hidden coves and beaches, and create your own adventure!

There are tons of boat rental places in Paleokastritsa, and a reservation in advance isn’t required. Most boat rental places do not require a license, and they will tell you everything you need to know on how to drive the boat! Depending on the size of your boat, it will cost anywhere from 150-300 euros/day. Ask your boat rental company if they provide a cooler as well, so you can stock up on snacks, drinks, and waters!

The boat rental company should provide a map with suggestions on where to visit. Some of the most popular stops include Paradise Beach, La Grotto Cove, and Agia Triada Beach. You can anchor your boat near the sandy shores and swim to the beach, or snorkel around the crystal clear waters!

You can also explore the towering cliffs and caves lining the coast. The cliffs rise dramatically from the sea, with formations and colours contrasted against the beautiful blue water! Be careful not to anchor too close to the cliffs.

A day on the water was one of the most memorable things we did in Corfu. The water of the Ionian Sea is some of the most stunning blues we’ve ever seen. If you’re visiting the area, having a day trip on a boat is a must do!
